Jin Wang
Dr. Jin Wang was a visiting researcher who was financed by China Scholarship Council (CSC),
in the Department of Electrical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University. In 2006,
he obtained his Ph.D. degree from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China.
His research interests include free-space optical (FSO) communications, Indoor optical wireless
communications, Light Detection And Ranging (Lidar) Systems for Atmospheric Environmental
Monitoring, etc. Some of his research results have been published in journals such as Optical
Engineering, Chinese Communications, Optik and Optics Communications. Dr. Wang has served as
a reviewer for manuscripts submitted to several journals, for e.g. IEEE Communications Letters,
Optical Engineering and Optics Communications.
